Slightly Known People’s 100th show
On sketch-comedy troupe Slightly Known People’s MySpace page, a woman named Meghan writes, “Anytime I can watch the slaughter of innocent baby ducks, I consider my five bucks well spent.” With such a devoted (and perhaps slightly twisted) following, it’s no wonder this offbeat quintet has continually sold out its weekly show, Slightly Known People is Seeing Other People. (Free shots passed out during the group’s signature song, “We Like to Drink,” don’t hurt either.) Tonight SKP (Erik Bowie, Melissa DeLancey, Stuart Luth, Dan Maccarone, and Josh Mertz) celebrates its 100th show with a little help from special guests Rob and Mark (from “Giant Tuesday,” at RiFiFi), A Week of Kindness (from the Peoples Improv Theater), and the Harvard Sailing Team (from Upright Citizens Brigade). At 8, RiFiFi, 332 East 11th Street, 212-677-1027, $5
